Wilson, Gollins, & Allison prepare for battle in Wales!

Meifod 11th July 10

Miles from nowhere, and under a cool leaden sky, Scott Wilson (223), Craig Gollins (57) and Guy Alison (229) were preparing to do battle in the Welsh hills.

Gollins was the outsider, deciding to only to enter the fray at the last minute with a late entry and a desire to win.
Wilson took the first race in 12:40.568 and was followed by Gollins in 13:07.661 and in third Allison with 13:10.144.

In the second race, Wilson set his mind to winning once more and crossed the line in 12:44.671. Geoff Shearn upset the formalities taking second place in 13:11.791. Gollins maintained his consistency taking third place with 13:14.590.

In the final race, Gollins stormed down the start straight and took the hole-shot. However, he would slip back to finish in fourth, but earn enough points to take third overall for the day.
Allison grabbed second place leaving Wilson to bag the first spot for race three, and first overall for the day.
Gollins picked up second, with Allison in third winning his first trophy in the MX 1 seniors.

Until the next time,
